Your information, handled with care

How Mangosteen collects, uses and protects the personal information you share through mangosteen.io.

Effective date: October 13, 2026

Who we are

Mangosteen Solutions LLC (“Mangosteen”, “we”) runs mangosteen.io and is responsible for the personal information collected through it. We are located at 117 Kendrick Street, Suite 300, Needham, MA 02494, USA, and you can reach us at hello@mangosteen.io.

What we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, company and message when you use our contact form, email us or chat with us, and the details you enter when you book a call with us.

Information collected automatically: basic technical data such as your browser type, device, pages visited and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies on our website.

Our free founder tools: if you enter your email to download a report, we collect that email address. The figures you type into the tools and any bank statements you convert stay in your browser and are not sent to us.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as government ID numbers, health data or financial account details through this website. Please don’t send it to us this way.

How we use it

To answer your questions and requests, schedule and hold calls, and follow up on a potential engagement.

To run, secure and improve our website.

To meet legal obligations. We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Legal basis (EU and UK visitors)

We process your information because it is necessary to respond to a request you made or to take steps before entering into a contract with you, for our legitimate interest in running and improving our business and website, to comply with the law, or, for non-essential cookies, with your consent.

Who we share it with

Service providers that host our website, provide email, scheduling, chat, analytics and AI tools, and help us run our business (for example Wix, Google and Anthropic). They may use your information only to provide their services to us.

Professional advisers, and authorities when the law requires it or to protect our rights.

A buyer or successor, if our business is ever sold or reorganized. We never sell your personal information or share it for advertising.

Our clients’ data

When we provide accounting, payroll, HR, legal and other services, we handle information on our clients’ behalf, including about their employees, contractors and customers. We process it only to deliver our services, under our client agreements and confidentiality obligations, and share it only with the service providers and tools we need to do that work, such as accounting, payroll and AI software. That information is governed by each client’s agreement with us, not by this policy. Questions about it should go to the client company first; we will help them respond.

How we use AI tools

We use carefully selected AI tools, including Anthropic’s Claude, to help our team work more efficiently, for example to draft documents, analyze data and organize information. We set these tools so the provider does not use our conversations to train its models, and we share only the information a task needs. A member of our team reviews AI-assisted work before we deliver it, and we do not use AI to make decisions about individuals that have legal or similarly significant effects. Information our clients share with us is used with AI tools only as their agreement with us allows.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, and may also use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. Visitors from the EU and UK are asked for consent before non-essential cookies are set. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the U.S. and other countries. When we transfer personal information from the EU, UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose we collected it for, such as answering your request or maintaining business records, and as required by law. After that we delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email hello@mangosteen.io. We will respond within the time the law requires, usually 30 days.

If you are in the EU or UK and believe we have not handled your information properly, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, and only authorized team members who need it can access it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Our website links to other sites, such as LinkedIn and Google Calendar booking pages. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
